This page is front face of the fifth folio of sixteen folios (also Book IV, folio 5 recto). A full page of text, no images, this text tells us that everything will appear in this document about how the town, devoted to the Virgin Mary, “our precious mother,” was founded. The document will show all of the town land that was recognized at the time the Spaniards (”the people of Castile”) arrived “from the East.” [SW]

Una página completa de texto, sin imágenes, nos cuenta que todo aparecerá en este documento acerca de como el pueblo, dedicado a la Virgen María “nuestra sagrada señora” fue fundado. El documento mostrará toda la tierra del pueblo que fue reconocida en el momento que los españoles de Castilla llegaron “desde el este.”
