f. 7v., two indigenous men standing

This scene, on folio 7 verso, two indigenous men are standing, both bear footed and wearing what appear to be jaguar hides. They both wear quivers with arrows on their backs, and the both hold arrows. They may be intended to represent Chichimec ancestors, who were hunters/warriors. Note how the hides these men wear cover more of the body in comparison with the hides worn by the men at the end of the mansucript. They are glossed at the top of the page as being of Mimiahuapan, and at the bottom of the page we learn that they are founders of the town. [SW]
