f. 16v., Atlan, near San Bartolomé

In this scene (folio 16 verso) represents a place called Atlan, near San Bartolomé. Featured is a man sitting in the foreground on what is probably meant to be green grass. He is between two tall green trees. On our left is a pond or lake, circular, outlined in black ink and painted blue, with a ring of green outside the black line. Above the water is a text and three circles, all written in a brown ink. The text refers to the toponym Atlan and how this land is the property of the people of San Bartolomé, consisting of 1,200 cords. The boundary is said to run along stretching out in both directions.
