This folio (22 recto) is devoted to showing the place called Coyotepec Ytzteticpac (or Coyotepec Itzteticpac), which is near or pertains to the tlaxilacalli (neighborhood or small outlying settlement) of San Bartolomé. It features a hill or mountain with two coyotes, one on either side. The hill is painted a golden brown with darker brown shading that gives it a three-dimensionality. [SW]

English Translation

[f. 22r., Nahuatl-to-English translation by Stephanie Wood:] At the summit at Coyotepec is the property of the town [measuring] 1,200 rods stretching out. The neighborhood [tlaxillacalli] of San Bartolomé. [Note: Here we are translating cuautli as though what were meant was quahuitl, rods, given the fact that the term is preceded by a number.]
