mill

mill

This detail is a mill, and the gloss identifies it as belonging to Luis Xuarez (which would be spelled Suárez today). Note the way the image is practically a glyph. There is a European flavor to the three dimensionality (e.g. showing the thickness of the windows and doors, and the dark interior). The construction appears to be of stone or adobe brick. The design at the top, which appears to be circles, may have a pre-Columbian style more typically associated with a royal palace.
