After the unexpected death of the prince “20 Jaguars” in 1096, at the age of 21, the throne of Tilantongo stayed empty for two years. Here, we are introduced to the parents of the founder of the new dynasty. They were contemporaries of the late prince. Their wedding is dated 1043 A.D.
