seated indigenous lord (Generation II-6)
This lord was called “Jaguar with Bloody Claws,” the inheritor of the Tilantongo titles. The name is represented as a spotted jaguar skin worn over head and back, and a jaguar claw worn as a “glove,” proyecting trickles of blood. According to Codex Bodley (p. 13-ii and 15-i), his calendar name was 1 Lizard. He was the son of the first marriage of lord “Serpent.” As a young man, he was put to serve in one of Tilantongo's temples. During a conflict with his half-brother, he chased his father and half-brother out of town and took over the throne of Tilantongo.
Señor Sentado (Generación II-6)
Este señor se llamó 'Jaguar de Garras Sangrientes', el heredero de los títulos de Tilantongo. El nombre fue representado mediante una piel pinto de jaguar, puesto sobre la cabeza y la espalda, y unas garras de jaguar como 'guante' del cual caen hilos de sangre. Según el Códice Bodley (p. 13-ii y 15-i), su nombre calendárico era 1 Lagartija. El era el hijo del primer matrimonio del señor 'Serpiente'. Siendo joven, fue enviado a servir en uno de los templos de Tilantongo. Durante un conflicto con su medio hermano, ahuyentó a su padre y su medio hermano del pueblo y tomó el trono de Tilantongo.
