This page, which is the front side of the sixteenth folio (16 recto) of eighteen folios, is typical of the image-heavy pages that feature landscapes included in these territorial claims of San Cristóbal Texcalucan and Santa María Magdalena Chichicaspa in the municipality of Huixquilucan (modern State of Mexico) late in the Spanish colonial period.
This scene shows a plain or field with two white deer. The field is washed with a green watercolor. The deer are outlined in black but their bodies seem not to have been painted, which gives them the appearance of being white in color. Both have racks of antlers.
The text on this page refers to territorial boundaries, and states that there are 300 mecatl (cords) of land at Tetzmoltitlan. The area is also referred to as Mazatlan. Three circles appear at the end of the text passage.
The page has two small brown stains in the binding and a large stain in the upper right corner. There is considerable erosion at the middle of the right margin of the page. The tear pattern suggests that this page was on the outside or near the outside of a bundle that was tied with a cord at one time. There are some worm holes toward the center and bottom of the page. Slight erosion at the top and bottom, in the middle, also suggests that the cord that bound the bundle was wrapped both from side to side and from top to bottom.

Esta página, que es la parte delantera del folio dieciseis (16 verso) de dieciocho folios, es típica de las páginas con imagen-pesada que documenta paisajes incluyendo estos reclamos territoriales de San Cristóbal Texcalucan y Santa María Magdalena Chichicaspa en el municipio de Huixquilucan (Estado de México) posteriormente en el período colonial Español.
La escena muestra una llanura o campo con dos venados blancos. El campo esta pintado con acuarelas verdes. Los venados estan delineados en negro pero sus cuerpos parecen no haber sido pintados, lo que hace que se vean de color blanco. Los dos tienen un par de astas.
El texto de esta página se refiere a los limites territoriales, y dice que hay300 mecati de tierra en Tetzmoltitlan. El área es también referida como Mazatlan. Tres círculos aparecen al final del texto.
La página tiene dos pequeñas manchas cafes en la cobertura y una mancha grande en la esquina derecha de arriba. Hay mucha erosión en medio del margen derecho de la página. El patrón de la roptura sugiera que esta página estaba afuera o cerca de afuera de un paquete que estaba atado con un cordón. Hay algunos agujeros de gusanos hacia el centro y la parte de abajo de esta página. Ligera erosión en la parte de arriba y de abajo, en medio, también sugiere que el cordón que juntaba el paquete fue envuelto de lado a lado y de arriba a abajo.
