This represents seven quantities of clothing and gold given as part of the tribute requirement. The gloss employs the term “ropa,” which works for clothing or cloth. These glyphs do not indicate any particularly elaborate design for the cloth, nor any colors, which might have made them more valuable. If we had Nahuatl glosses, these might be called tilmatli. The item below the cloth refers to “oro” (gold), but the relationship to the cloth is not clear. [SW]
