This glyph refers to tributes in clothing. The part at the bottom refers to gold. The gloss employs the term “ropa,” which works for clothing or cloth. These glyphs do not indicate any particularly elaborate design for the cloth, nor any colors, which might have made them more valuable. If we had Nahuatl glosses, these might be called tilmatli. [SW]
