Tlilhuacan settlement

Tlilhuacan settlement

This slice seems to capture a settlement with the placename Tlilhuacan. Tlilhuacan may also be a toponym. Tlilhuacan may have two pyramids in the vicinity. One seems to have a stone mound with a cross, probably a boundary marker. The other has no cross next to it. Both are outlined in black ink and dotted with ink (to represent stones, presumably), and they are painted brown. The pyramid with the cross next to it is not captured in this slice. The housing core at Tlilhuacan consists of about a dozen houses of the small, cubic type, outlined in black and washed with a gray or brown and a black door or doorway. A spring and river or creek coming from it appear between Tlilhuacan and the nearby hill. Footprints traverse this slice, across the top, which suggests that a boundary survey or “vista de ojos” may have skirted Tlilhuacan.
asentamiento Tlilhuacano
