pueblo of Santiago Tlaxomulco
This is a detail of the pueblo of Santiago Tlaxomulco, with its Christian church and probable housing core. A hill appears near the church, crested with vegetation (possibly prickly pear cacti), and two springs release water down the hillside. The buildings are drawn in black ink and are painted dark gray. The openings or doorways to the houses are black. The arched opening or doorway to the church is gold or yellow. The church tower has one tier, with a rounded cupola above that and a cross on top. The hill is painted a greenish watercolor. The springs are painted blue. The vegetation is drawn in black ink and painted green.

Detalle del pueblo de Santiago Tlaxomulco, con su iglesia cristiana y el cojunto de casas. Una colina parece cerca de la iglesia, con una cresta de vegetación (posiblemente plantas cactáceas como candelabros) y dos fuentes envían agua hacia abajo de la colina. Los edificios están dibujados con tinta negra y pintados de gris oscuro. Las entradas de las casas están pintadas de negro. El arco de la iglesia es dorado. La torre tiene un piso, con una cúpula por encima y una cruz en la cima. La colina está pintada con acuarelas verdes. Las fuentes son azules, y la vegetación está dibujada en tinta negra y pintada de verde.
