pyramid (?)
This is a detail of a pyramid, pyramid-shaped pile of stones, or other human-made landscape element at the base of a hill, or possibly meant to be inside the hill. It is at the center of the hill, which is more rounded. Both the hill and the pyramid are outlined in black. The pyramid is painted a darker gray-brown than the hill. This pyramid may be a boundary marker, although the stones with the cross that appear on top of the hill at Tenantepec represent a more likely candidate for a boundary marker. If it is not a boundary marker, could it be a pre-Columbian temple?

Detalle de una pirámide, o una pila de rocas con forma de pirámide, o cualquier elemento exterior en la base de una colina (aunque quizás intente representar el interior de la misma). Se encuentra en el centro de la colina, que está más redondeada. Tanto la colina como la pirámide están delineadas en tinta negra. La pirámide está pintada en un gris-marrón más oscuro que la colina. La pirámide pudo haber servido cómo una mojadera, aunque las piedras con una cruz que aparecen en la cima de Tenantepec son un candidato mas apto para representar una mojadera. ¿Si no es una mojadera, podría ser un templo precolombino?
