toponym glyph, Oçelonazco
This place glyph reads ”oçelonazco” (Nahuatl toponym, Ocelonazco, ”Jaguar-crack?-place?”). The second element is difficult to translate, but could be related to natzini “crack,” since the glyphic compound shows a spotted feline in a cleft or crack in a rocky landscape.
