This detail captures part of a dramatic scene on the lower edge of the map, whereby what appears to be a wild cat (puma?) attacking the horse of a Spaniard (given his hat, feather, clothing, etc.), and the Spaniard appears to be shooting the animal. It appears to have come down from the mountain. [SW]
