tribute items

The lower part of the document shows a variety of products. Each one of these is associated with a Nahua numerical glyph. As such, these items can be identified as tributes. The following items appear: 120 loads (6 x 20) of something not yet identified, 100 bundles (5 x 20) of mantas (cloths, blankets), and 14 capes or cloaks. Perhaps this is the tribute that the people of Quauhquechollan had to provide to the Spaniards. An account written by dno Esteban de Guzmán refers to tributes paid by Quauhquechollan put its description is illegible. His text also mentions a quantity of 60 pesos of gold. Un relato escrito por dno que Esteban de Guzmán se refiere a tributos pagados por Quauhquechollan puso su descripción es ilegible. Su texto también menciona una cantidad de 60 pesos de oro.
