f. 6v., church of San Juan Tolcayuca
This is a detail of the Christian church of San Juan Tolcayuca, showing possibly three structures or components of different heights, one with a tall bell tower with several smaller parts and a pointed, red (presumably tile) roof. Two of the structures also have red (presumably tile) roofs. The roofs are pitched, outlined in black, and are painted with a red watercolor. Some roof beams emerge at the eaves of the largest structure. The buildings are painted brown. The largest component has a large black door or doorway. Small arched openings, possibly windows, are also black. The bell tower has at least three arched openings, too. The structural component to our right of the main entrance does not have a red roof.

Dos de las estructuras también tienen techos rojos (probablemente teja). Los techos son inclinados, con contornos en negro, y estan pintados con acuarelas rojas. Algunos vigas de los techos aparecen en los aleros de las estructuras grandes. Los edificios estan pintados de café. El componente mas grande tiene una puerta grande y negra. Pequeñas abiertas arqueadas, posiblemente ventanas, también negras. La torre de campana tiene por lo menos tres abiertas arqueadas también. La structura del componente, a nuestra derecha de la entrada principal no tiene el techo rojo.
