This is a detail from the back side of the first folio of sixteen folios (also Book IV, folio 1 verso).
This is a tree, outlined in black and washed with a blue-green watercolor. It is tall and narrow. It has a fuller look than the tall thin trees that might be palms (as we see in Book IV, folio 1r). The foliage is stippled in black ink; branches, growing upward, are slightly delineated at their tips, especially visible in the magnification. It is noteworthy that the tree is not much taller than the standing male figure nearby, showing that a strict observance of the scale of the natural world was not a high priority for the painter(s). Este es un detalle de la cara posterior del primer folio del folio de dieciséis folios (también Libro IV, folio 1 verso).
La imágen representa un arbol, delineado en negro y pintado con acuarelas verdeazules. Es alto y angosto. Presenta una forma robusta, distinta a la de los árboles delgados que quizás sean palmeras (como las representadas en el Libro IV, flio 1r). El foliaje está punteado en tinta negra; las ramas, creciendo hacia arriba, están ligeramente delineadas en sus puntas, y son visibles especialmente en la ampliación de la imágen. Es importante mencionar que el árbol no es mucho mas alto que la figura masculina parada a su lado, demostrando que la estricta observancia de la escala del mundo natural no era una prioridad para el pintor(s).
