This is the letter the name Juan, in cursive writing. It appears apart from a similar but fuller signature on another page, and apart from an effort to write just a capital letter J, elsewhere on this same page, suggesting someone was practicing writing his name. The ink is blacker and the quill was much smaller than the text on this page, which suggests the doodling was not done at the time of the composition of the manuscript, but probably added by a later owner. One may presume that the name Juan, here, is the same Juan as we see in Juan de Castro Cid on folio 5 recto, although the name Juan was written there with a little more flair.

La tinta es más negra y el punta de pluma de ave es más pequeña que el texto de esta página, lo cual sugiere que el garabato no fue hecho al mismo tiempo que la composición del manuscrito, pero que probablemente fue agregada por otro dueño después.
