This is a detail of one of the three trees behind the pond or lake. Given the toponym, “Ahuacuauhtlan,” this may be intended as an avocado tree. It is growing out of green grass, with its roots showing, its trunks painted green, and its foliage stippled with black ink, also washed with the same green paint.
